Iran experienced a 5.0 magnitude earthquake with a focal depth of 10 kilometers.

China Earthquake Networks Center officially determined that a 5.0 magnitude earthquake occurred in Iran (37.05 degrees north latitude, 54.95 degrees east longitude) at 05:37 on July 20, with a focal depth of 10 kilometers.

On July 19, local time, CCTV reporters learned that after receiving $45 billion in funding, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is accelerating the construction of tent-style immigrant detention camps across the country, with the goal of increasing detention capacity from the current 40,000 beds to 100,000 beds by the end of 2025.
